Young Ambassadors Launches Next Exchange

Exciting plans are underway for the seventh generation of the Indiana-Kentucky Conference's Young Ambassador Program - an opportunity for high school youth to develop faithful leadership by doing an exchange with young people from German churches.

High school youth who will be at least 16, but not yet 21 years of age by July 2020 are encouraged to apply. This program will include building relationships with German youth in a series of international exchanges with our partner churches. Participants and leaders will host German
youth from Wittgenstein in Westphalia to the conference in July of 2019. IKC youth will go to Germany in July of 2020. Families and church leaders - help us identify exceptional youth who would benefit from this unique opportunity. The deadline for application is April 1, 2018. We will accept up to 14 youth participants.

Three outstanding leaders have been selected to support this iteration of the Young Ambassador ministry. Melinda Sterrett lives in Jasper, IN and is a member of St. Peter's UCC in Dubois. Lydia Hancock lives in Westphalia where she is a member of Salem UCC. She was a memberof Generation 5. Isaac Field lives in Michigantown, teaches in Frankfort, and is a member of St. Paul's UCC, German Township, in Evansville. Each brings gifts, experiences and insights to this important youth leadership opportunity.

We invite your prayers and financial support as we plan for Generation 7!
